Tuesday Giveaway: Smooth Operators – Introducing the new Wax Lounge at Salon Visio

I’m super excited about today’s giveaway especially since it comes from local vendor and my hair stylist (Jen) – at Salon Visio.  They’ve just launched the new Wax Lounge by Visio that will open in early July just in time for the peak of wedding season here in the Gorge.  Aren’t you Gorge/Hood River brides lucky?  Not only does the Salon offer all your wedding day hair and makeup needs but now with the Wax Lounge you can do massages, facials, manicures, pedicures, spray tanning and get your wax on all in one place!

Welcome to the new Hitched in the Hood!

Wow, this one has been a long time coming but we are finally live with the new Hitched in the Hood site.  Like any new site we are still working out the kinks and adding new content everyday.  I’m still working on the portfolio page and probably the most exciting new section – the local vendor guide which we are continuing to add new vendor categories to as we type.  A big thanks to Shawn Hart, our fabulous web developer and to The Lettered Olive that did the rad new Hitched in the Hood logo.  And what good would a wedding site or portfolio be without all the beautiful images – thank you to Gabriel Boone, FS Photography, Benjamin Edwards and Keith Dennis (my hubs) for your lovely images. Looking forward to working with you again on 2012 weddings and projects!

Barely squeaked that one in just before the big wedding season.  Should have lots of beautiful details and gorgeous brides and grooms to add to the collection. In fact…we have our first 2012 wedding next week.  Tara and Sean next Friday …can’t wait for your lovely wedding!

Real Wedding: Gorge Crest Vineyards Wedding of Megan and Dan

Good morning lovely readers! It’s Whitney, and I’m so excited to finally have my first post as a contributor to the blog. I couldn’t be happier that I get to feature the wedding of Megan and Dan.
